And Jesus came and said to them, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything that I have commanded you. And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age."   Matthew 28:18-20 (NRSV, Catholic edition)

Our Evangelical Neighbours – A Catholic Reflection on Evangelical Christianity

(CCCB – Ottawa)... Today, on the Feast of Saint Luke the Evangelist, the Canadian Conference of Catholic Bishops (CCCB), through its Episcopal Commission for Christian Unity, Religious Relations with the Jews, and Interfaith Dialogue, has published a new resource entitled: Our Evangelical Neighbours – A Catholic Reflection on Evangelical Christianity. The resource provides Catholics in Canada an introduction to Evangelical Christianity by exploring its origins, similarities and differences to Catholicism. The resource was developed in close collaboration with The Evangelical Fellowship of Canada (EFC), an official dialogue partner of the CCCB, since 2010.
